Understanding hair transplant cost in the U.S. and Turkey
Hair transplant cost is the most common question we hear — and the hardest to answer online. Prices in South Florida range from about $7,000 to $18,000; Turkish packages are advertised far lower but add flights, hotels and follow-up. The articles in this category break down every factor so you can compare clinics fairly, whether you're considering Istanbul or a Turkish-trained surgeon here in Florida.
Per graft or package?
Many American clinics quote a price per graft, typically $4 to $8. That makes large sessions expensive and hard to compare. Turkish clinics popularized all-inclusive packages instead — one price for the planned session, including medications, aftercare and follow-up. At HAIROCKET we follow the Turkish model, with fixed-price packages from $5,500.
What should always be included
A fair quote covers the consultation, the full procedure and anesthesia, medications and an aftercare kit, your first wash and a clear follow-up schedule. If a price leaves any of these out, ask why — and get it in writing.
Start with the packages
Our three fixed-price packages — Essential, Signature and Elite — show exactly what each price includes; a free photo analysis then turns it into a written plan from a Turkish-trained, Florida-licensed surgeon.
Turkey vs Florida cost
A Turkish package may look cheaper, but flights, hotels, time off and follow-up add up. Our guides show the full math so you can compare honestly.
Cost of a second session
Some patients plan a second session years later for extra density, to refine the crown or to treat new loss elsewhere on the scalp. Ask how your surgeon would price a future session and how many donor grafts will remain.
Financing and insurance
Hair transplants are generally considered cosmetic, so insurance rarely pays. Most clinics — including ours — offer monthly financing through third-party lenders, with terms from 12 to 60 months for approved credit.
